Union Budget 2019-2020 promises to boost the influx of domestic and foreign tourists
2019-2020 Union Budget of India launched with a commitment for structural reforms and relaxing FDI norms. As per our Prime Minister Mr. Modi of the country the middle class will progress with this budget, development work will expedite even more. The tax structure will simplify and infrastructure will modernise. The budget fulfils the expectations of the middle class population. Keeping in mind the fact that rural spending has been rising - the growth pattern of various business parallel including infrastructure and tourism is set to rise many fold in coming years.
Vishal Suri, MD - SOTC Travel said - As India poised to become the 3rd largest domestic aviation market, the budget has focused on reviving the concerned sector by opening FDI doors. Liberalisation of FDI will attract investments from foreign players, which will revive the current cash-strapped aviation sector, thereby stabilising the aviation industry, which will in turn lead to incremental benefits for the tourism industry.
