India is estimated to generate over 2 Million outbound luxury and MICE tourists annually by 2020
India's outbound MICE tourism that has been showing a consistent growth is expected to reach almost 9 Billion USD by 2025. In the year 2020 India is expected to reach 2 Million outbound tourists in luxury and MICE segment.
Emphasizing on the growth trends of the MICE industry, Stephanie Tanpure, VP Sales, Sands Resorts Macao said, "We are projecting a very buoyant 2019 as far as meetings and events. I think the Global meeting and events industry should also expect some great results next year. We are not only seeing more and more events, but the average size of these events are growing."
As there is a massive change in visa policies and high availability of direct flights is bringing the world close to each other. Corporates are exploring and spending big over business travel over immense business potential to capitalise.
