India will account for 50 million outbound tourists by 2020(UNWTO).
Europe commands an estimated market share of about 20 per cent of all Indian outbound departures.

Does this mean anything apart from opportunities? Our vision for the year 2019 is to redefine representation in Indian travel marketplace by acquiring associates and mentoring talent.

Opportunities in Indian Travel Marketplace are endless - are you up for the grab!

How India has become a booming supplier of outbound tourists?

Once you visit India - you can definitely feel the fact that there are so many Indias in India and yet there is an Indianness that pervades over everything. This well-known Indianness which has already seen culture, heritage, and diversity that wraps everything in its fold always believes in a strong reason for outbound travel. Despite such diversity the question that arises is as How India has become a booming supplier of outbound tourists.

The fast pacing GDP @7% that directly interprets the rising personal income levels and availability of low-cost air fares adds up a dramatic change onto the global tourism landscape as far as India as a country vis-a-vis outbound tourism is concerned. Every year more than 5.4 million Indians go abroad for MICE, study, tourism, shopping, honeymoon or to visit friends and family.

Why to focus on India for its outbound tourism?

There is a very strong reason to focus on India for its outbound tourism is another fact that the average Indian traveler spends $1,200 per visit as compared with Americans who spend about $700, and Brits who spend $500.

To serve this growing market, virtually all the world's largest airlines operate flights into and out of India. According to Forbes - Thailand, Singapore, the U.S. and Malaysia remain the preferred destinations, but European countries and nearby Sri Lanka, Nepal, China and Japan are also drawing attention for Indian Outbound Travellers.

Pathika - an essential connect !

Amongst all the stats, GDP growth, scope of expansion in outbound tourism and travel marketplace strategies - have we not completely missed out and forgot the Indianness that remains the core of outbound travel. This Indianness strongly believes that more than the sites, locations and destinations, travel is about experience and the moments are best preserved in memories. Pathika is just not an initiative to represent travel destinations and tourism boards in the country but is an essential pathway, an essential connect which takes the Indianness from Point A to Point B.
