Growth of 13 percent in the spending of Indian Traveller. Market expected to go as far as 136 Billion USD by 2021.

An unprecedented scale was achieved in 2018 when Indian traveller spending reached approx 94 billion USD in 2018 over 2 billion domestic and international trips.

The momentum achieved in 2018 is expected to continue at a growth rate of 13 percent. The study released by Bain and Company and Google India today outlines the influence of online channels helping them to purchase or to pick the destination.

The study also revealed that digital plays a pivot role due to the stats showing as far as 86 per cent of consumers are influenced by digital marketing. Travellers were found to be continuously searching and comparing services or prises online. Online videos are also proving to play a very crucial role influencing as much as 21 per cent of travellers.
