India becomes 2nd highest source market for tourism to the Sultanate of Oman, with an increase of 12.37% in tourist arrivals

As per the latest statistics 357,147 travelers visited the Sultanate of Oman during January to December 2018 as compared the data with previous year's figure of 317,844 – A rise of almost 12.37%

The growing stats and rise in spending capacity of Indian traveler makes India the second highest source market for Oman. If the stats however compared with total international traveler’s being 1,484,063 then the perspective of growth vis-a-vis the Indian sub-continent segment are still left with huge amount of growth opportunities to the destination like Oman and various similar other as well.

The MICE travel segment is also being introduced as Oman being, just a 3 hours short haul flight with excellent air connectivity offers a wonderful opportunity to market like - destination wedding and group travel.
